NEW EXTRACT ASSETS
Easily extract optimized image assets from layers and save them to various formats and resolutions, including SVG, using the simple, visual Extract Assets interface built on top of Adobe Generator. Generate either individual or real-time, auto-updated extractions tailored to your workflow

NEW WELCOME SCREEN

A new Welcome screen in Photoshop CC helps you discover, learn, and use the many features in Photoshop. The Welcome screen greets you each time you launch Photoshop and displays content that is personalized and relevant to you

NEW SUPPORT FOR WINDOWS TOUCH DEVICES
Get a more interactive experience on Windows 8.1 touch devices now that you can use pinch, zoom, pan, and rotate gestures

NEW 3D PRINTER PROFILES
Get support for additional 3D printers and printing service providers, including i.materialise, new MakerBot printers, and Ultimaker printers

IMPROVED GUIDES
Quickly create multiple guides at one time — no more having to create or drag out each guide individually. Accurately set the width and margins of multiple columns or rows, and even save guides as presets

IMPROVED UI TO FILL DIALOG
A number of UI improvements make the Fill dialog more intuitive and easier to use. The enhancements are focused on the logical grouping of options in the dialog

3D PRINTING SUPPORT
Now that Photoshop CC offers support for rigging and animation data from COLLADA files, you can add posing and animation effects to your 3D scans and designs

3D PDF SUPPORT
Export your 3D designs from Photoshop as 3D PDF files so colleagues and clients can easily view, comment on, and manipulate them in Adobe Acrobat

SVG EXPORT
Export SVG graphics using new Extract Assets and Adobe Generator. Output includes path information, layer style information, and more for content that will scale beautifully in any browser
 

MERCURY GRAPHICS ENGINE PERFORMANCE BOOST

Focus Mask works up to three times faster thanks to a performance boost from the Mercury Graphics Engine

ADDITIONAL NEW FEATURES

• New menu item to collapse all layer groups
• New preference to enable overscrolling when a document does not fit the window
• When you create a new layer group while some layers are selected, the layers are automatically added to the layer group
• New Flame scripted pattern
• Transparency support for Copy/Paste from Photoshop to other applications in OS X
• New keyboard shortcuts for locking layers (Cmd/Ctrl+"/") and hiding layers (Cmd/Ctrl+",")

• Performance improvements to Mercury Graphics Engine to speed up Content-Aware technologies and the Focus Area selection feature
• Select > Modify command improvements; Also, a new edge padding option is now available for these commands

• Document save operations are now recorded in the History panel

• The Adobe Color Themes panel (Window > Extensions > Adobe Color Themes) is now shipped with Photoshop
• 3D printing support for rigging for figurine posing and animations
• 3D PDF support and new 3D printer profiles
• Several dialogs are now optimized for wide-screen displays
• Adobe Camera Raw interface now supports High DPI displays
